The Dikwe demonstrator continues its deployment in Boulogne-sur-Mer

In Boulogne-sur-Mer, the Dikwe project is reaching a new stage in its development. After several years of research, engineering, and preparation, the demonstrator is gradually entering its real-world implementation phase, with the goal of validating the technology's performance in an operational maritime environment.

A decisive trial phase

Deploying a demonstrator is an essential step in the development of innovative technology. Beyond the completion of the construction, this phase allows for the confrontation of technical choices with the constraints of the marine environment and the collection of indispensable data for the continuation of the project.

The Wave-Op teams are thus continuing the final preparation operations before the demonstrator's launch. The tests will make it possible to observe the system's behavior under different wave conditions and to measure its wave energy conversion performance.

Validate performance to prepare for the future

The next steps will focus on acquiring and analyzing real-world operating data. These results will confirm the technology's performance, refine the design models, and prepare for future developments of the solution.

Each experimentation phase contributes to strengthening the maturity of Dikwe technology and supporting its future deployment within infrastructures.
