Dikwe teams took part in the Happy Blue event in Brest!
In collaboration with GEPS Techno, a specialist in offshore energy, the Dikwe project teams presented their pioneering solution for accelerating the energy transition in port areas at the Happy Blue event.
Organized by the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, the event on April 1 brought together experts, researchers and companies to discuss sustainable maritime solutions. It was also an opportunity to take stock of the past year and define the outlook for maritime innovation.
Significant advances shared with participants
At the event, teams from Groupe Legendre, GEPS Techno and Ifremer presented the latest advances in the Dikwe project. The technology is based on oscillating flaps which, in addition to protecting the coastline, generate carbon-free electricity by harnessing the force of waves. This innovation represents a real turning point for port infrastructures, making them not only more resilient but also more respectful of the environment.
