DIKWE teams take part in Europe's leading marine renewable energy trade fair

Designed to transform the power of the waves into renewable energy that can be used in a short circuit, this new kind of seawall was developed by Ingénova, Groupe Legendre's R&D subsidiary, in partnership with GEPS Techno and Ifremer. The process consists of a modular caisson envelope with a wave-driven flap that converts wave power into sustainable, local electricity. The caisson can thus be integrated into offshore, coastal or port protection installations.

At the end of June in Nantes, France, the Dikwe teams took part in a round table discussion entitled «Surfing the current wave» as part of Seanergy, Europe's leading marine renewable energy trade fair. Quentin Henry took the opportunity to talk about the milestones reached by Dikwe technology, and the diversity of prospects offered by this project. The show was also an opportunity for the teams to exchange views with the entire ocean energy world.
